We Want Your Ideas

Want to contribute to our blog? Know someone who would be great to interview? Let us know. We are always looking for more good ideas.

Welcome to the New Do-Gooder Site!

Welcome to the new Minnesota Do-Gooders Club website. We’re excited to share more resources than ever before.

At the end of our inaugural 2011-2012 season, we sent out a survey to all the people who had expressed interest in what we were doing. You spoke and we listened. This site is the first stage in the evolution of Do-Gooders Club.

One thing our respondents said they liked about Do-Gooder content were the audio recordings of our events—so we are happy to announce a new monthly podcast. We’ll chat with experts and highlight interesting nonprofit case studies. You’ll be able to listen to the interviews here and download them onto your MP3 player to listen to later and to share.

We’ll also have posts that highlight short and cool tricks you can implement quickly and painlessly for your organization. These Do posts range from best practices to creative exercises. We think you’ll find them useful.

Finally, our Read posts link to the very best resources we’ve discovered in our own day-to-day work lives. These are the articles, books and blogs that we think provide forward-thinking, inspirational and practical information for Minnesota’s nonprofit marketing and communications pros.

Additionally, we will have an announcement this autumn for what we think is an exciting new in-person series of events. So stay tuned!

As always, if there’s something you’d like us to know, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Thanks for your interest in Do-Gooders Club—and thanks for everything you do to make the nonprofit sector in Minnesota thrive!
